About The Role We are seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our remote development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support our financial operations and enhance customer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable and reliable applications. Your expertise in React and Node.js will be vital in creating seamless user interfaces and robust backend services. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for performance optimization, and familiarity with testing frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-standard software products. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of application software programming experience
• Or High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of relevant application software programming experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features, closures, and asynchronous programming
• Experience with React.js for building user interfaces
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
• Understanding of React component lifecycle and best practices
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
• Ability to interact with REST APIs for data fetching and manipulation
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly GITLAB
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience working with ORACLE Database systems
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Experience within regulated financial organizations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user interface components and web applications utilizing React.js
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices
• Participate actively in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions
• Apply SDLC principles to improve automation, deployment, and development efficiency
• Analyze technical problems, debug issues, and troubleshoot code to ensure application stability
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement strategies for optimization
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and contribute to automated testing frameworks
• Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality standards and facilitate knowledge sharing
• Create comprehensive documentation for codebase and application functionalities
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth within the team
