About The Role
The Senior Graphic Designer at Propelled Brands is a vital member of our creative team, responsible for providing artistic support to project coordinators, team supervisors, the sales team, and other national staff. This role involves creating professional and visually compelling artwork renderings tailored to client needs while managing workflow, overseeing deadlines, and ensuring high-quality production output. The position requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring junior designers and collaborating effectively across departments.
As a senior team member, you will serve as a primary source of artistic direction, guiding the development of signage solutions and maintaining alignment with company standards and industry trends. This is a full-time, remote position reporting directly to the Graphic Designer Manager, with responsibilities extending to project management, client interaction, and team mentorship.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design within the sign industry
- Proficiency in digital vector image creation applications such as CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong understanding of large-format printing processes, materials, and fabrication techniques
- Foundational knowledge of electrical and non-electrical sign installation methods (preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Fundamental understanding of sign construction and installation methodologies
- Working knowledge of office productivity software (Google Suite, Microsoft Office)
Responsibilities
- Design, produce, and layout original artwork proofs, including illustrations, infographics, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with management and project coordinators on large or rush projects to ensure timely completion
- Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers to foster a collaborative creative environment
- Work closely with the sales team to develop signage solutions for clients and contribute to standard signage artwork development
- Assist the Graphic Designer Manager in maintaining progress reports for artwork submissions and completions
- Build, maintain, and update customer online catalogs to ensure accurate and current information
- Participate in special departmental projects and initiatives as assigned by management or executive leadership
- Support the tracking and optimization of workflow and efficiency within the Art Department
- Provide artistic direction and support for graphic artists within the National Accounts division
- Train and mentor team members to uphold high creative standards and technical proficiency
- Make critical decisions in the absence of management to ensure project continuity and quality
- Maintain current knowledge of FASTSIGNS core products and industry trends
- Stay updated with latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in signage design
