About The Role
We are seeking a talented UX (User Experience) Designer to join our Business Analytics department on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our business customers. Working remotely within the United States, you will report directly to Michael Horan and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the end-to-end user journey, ensuring that our digital platforms are accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with best practices in UX design.
The UX Designer will be responsible for translating complex requirements into clear, scalable, and high-quality digital solutions. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, producing developer-ready assets that adhere to accessibility standards and design systems. Your work will help shape the future of our digital experiences, balancing usability, visual appeal, and technical feasibility in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a detail-oriented, confident designer capable of owning key aspects of the user experience and collaborating effectively with diverse teams to deliver impactful results.
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with design systems and component-based design
- Proficiency in producing web-ready and developer-friendly design assets
- Experience with motion design, animation, video, or tools such as After Effects (preferred)
- Experience writing prompts for AI tools to support or accelerate design workflows (preferred)
- Proven experience designing for web-based experiences, including hands-on production design
- Strong foundation in UX principles, interaction design, and usability standards
- Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to balance user needs with business and technical requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with usability testing, experimentation, and A/B testing methodologies (preferred)
- Strong writing, content design, or UX copy skills (preferred)
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, or Claude (preferred)
- Design end-to-end user experiences for web platforms, from wireframes to high-fidelity, production-ready designs
- Create clean, visually compelling layouts emphasizing hierarchy, composition, and usability
- Produce precise developer-ready design files, specifications, and assets
- Apply UX best practices and ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to develop cohesive digital experiences
- Contribute to and work within established design systems to maintain consistency across platforms
- Clearly articulate design rationale and decisions to stakeholders and team members
- Incorporate insights from user research, usability testing, and A/B testing into iterative design improvements
- Build and enhance reusable Figma components using features like auto layout, variants, component properties, variables, and shared libraries
- Support current light-mode website delivery while creating components and patterns for the evolving dark-mode design system
