Head of Product

Hi! We’re a startup building a virtual clothing try-on app. We recently entered the Italian market.

Despite strong technical expertise, the product has not yet reached a stable product-market fit. 

We are looking for a Head of Product who will rebuild the product strategy and, relying on metrics, make timely decisions that systematically increase product value for customers and improve monetization.

This is not an operational Product Owner role. This is a Product Leadership role at a transformation stage.

You will work with a highly professional team of backend developers, ML and 3D specialists, designers, and researchers. We are a team of 26 people working from 3 countries.

What You Will Do

• Identify the key risks on the path to product-market fit, design a validation experiment for each risk, and drive it to results within the team’s and budget’s constraints.
• Iteratively rebuild elements of the PMF narrative — from value proposition and target segments to monetization model and competitive defensibility — based on data and market learnings.
• Translate the team’s technological capabilities (ML, 3D) into clear customer value. Understand technology limitations and realistically plan the desired customer outcome.
• Build a systematic process for collecting market feedback: customer development, pilots, and impact measurement after each release.
• Keep the team focused on goals that directly move the product closer to PMF. Be able to say “no” to anything that does not affect outcomes.
• Act as a bridge between business and engineering: align expectations, turn strategic decisions into clear tasks, and remove blockers.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in finding product-market fit in a B2B or B2B2C digital product — not scaling an already proven product, but specifically moving from hypotheses to validated PMF. We care about concrete cases: what you tested, what didn’t work, and how you adapted.
• Experience working with value proposition, segmentation, and monetization model as living, changeable product elements. Ability to rebuild them based on data.
• Experience in products at the intersection of complex technology and business — ML, 3D, CV, or similar. You do not need to write code, but you should be able to assess what the technology can realistically deliver to customers (and what it cannot yet).
• Hands-on experience with customer development, pilots, and experiments under limited budgets. Ability to choose the cheapest viable way to validate a hypothesis.
• Ability to focus the team and make unpopular decisions: shut down directions, decline stakeholder requests, cut scope. Experience working with a team of up to 30 people in a high-uncertainty environment.
• Experience working with Western markets (EU/UK)
• Strong business acumen: understanding how core corporate functions (Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR) operate and the ability to communicate effectively in a common business language.
• English — B2 or higher.

Nice to Have

• Fashion / e-commerce / retail cases.
• Experience in products at the intersection of ML / 3D / AR (understanding limitations and planning realistically).
• Experience launching products in EU/UK markets.
