Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a 3D Environment Artist specializing in stylized art. In this role, you will create visually immersive 3D environments assets with detailed textures, and craft captivating lighting setups for a unique dark fantasy game. Your tasks will include collaborating with the team to bring the artistic vision to life, contributing to environment creation, and optimizing assets for smooth gameplay. This role offers the opportunity to work on a passion project and develop your portfolio while collaborating remotely with a creative team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D modelling and texturing using tools such as Autodesk Maya or Blender
• Understanding of PBR Stylized Texturing
• Knowledge of ZBrush and sculpting
• Experience with modular building and crafting compelling 3D environments parts
• Strong understanding of 3D Workflow (Modelling - UV mapping)
• Knowledge of Game creation processes and workflows
• Passion for dark fantasy art styles and world-building
• Good teamwork and communication skills in a collaborative remote setting
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine is a plus
• Portfolio showcasing relevant 3D environment work is required
