Senior Salesforce Developer – Remote – up to £110,000 + benefits

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join their growing team. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet business needs, making sure the platform is used to its full potential. You’ll also provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level developers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and system integrations.
• Customise Salesforce to meet business requirements by creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
• Integrate Salesforce with other platforms using APIs and middleware tools, ensuring data flows smoothly between systems.
• Carry out code reviews, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and high-quality.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced developers, supporting their technical growth.
• Develop software solutions using established design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.

Technical skills:

• 7+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Salesforce Application and/or Systems Architect certification(s).
• Strong experience with Agile delivery and Salesforce DevOps pipelines.
• Advanced knowledge of the Force.com Platform (Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, Unit Testing).
• Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning and building/configuring Lightning Web Components.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party tools using APIs and middleware.
• Good understanding of data migration and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with code change control tools such as BitBucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of business systems integration, object-oriented design, and development.
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services.
