About

I'm a designer and illustrator with a fine art background. I've been drawing and painting for years, and I bring that artistic eye into everything I create — from digital illustrations to clean web layouts. Currently, I'm studying web and graphic design at Yudaev School, building my portfolio, and looking for my first commercial projects. I'm open to internships and junior positions where I can grow and contribute. Based in Belarus. Open to relocation.

Fair profile

Olga's profile shows a solid foundation in design and illustration, but several areas need improvement to increase market value. The lack of a resume is a critical gap, as it prevents employers from seeing detailed experience and portfolio samples. The skills listed (Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop) are relevant but common; adding more specialized skills (e.g., UI/UX, prototyping, HTML/CSS) would strengthen the profile. As a junior with no commercial projects, focusing on building a strong portfolio and obtaining certifications or completing internships is essential. The summary is well-written but lacks quantifiable achievements; consider mentioning specific projects or courses completed. The expected salary of $30,000 USD for a junior remote role is reasonable but may be high for the Belarus market; research market rates. Openness to relocation to high-value markets (USA, EU) is a plus. No links provided, which is a missed opportunity; include a LinkedIn profile and portfolio link. Language proficiency is not explicitly stated, but assuming English is at a working level; if not, improving English would significantly boost marketability.

How to improve

Enhance the professional summary by adding concrete details: mention specific design projects (e.g., 'Designed a landing page for a local business'), highlight any relevant coursework or certifications from Yudaev School, and include your proficiency in English (e.g., 'Fluent in English and Russian'). Also, state your career objective more clearly, e.g., 'Seeking a junior web designer role where I can apply my skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to create user-friendly interfaces.' Avoid phrases like 'looking for my first commercial projects' as they emphasize lack of experience; instead, frame it as 'eager to contribute to a creative team.'
