Bold Wood Stains

The resurgence of wood cabinets, walls, and furniture stained in bold colors—think bubblegum pink or crocodile green—is on the rise. Fresh examples in shades of blue are particularly striking, such as a cobalt staircase and a teal kitchen balanced with stainless steel countertops.

Expect to see more basketry and weaving in interiors. This trend brings a sense of warmth and texture, moving beyond traditional wicker.

Sofas That Can Become Conversation Pits

Innovative designs that allow sofas to transform into conversation pits are gaining popularity. These versatile pieces provide comfort for both lounging and social gatherings.

More Pattern Mixing

The return of maximalism sees a bold mixing of colors and patterns, creating lively yet cozy spaces. Expect to see more pattern mixing within cohesive palettes.

Hyper-Personal Spaces

Design is becoming increasingly personalized, with individuals embracing unique, personality-driven choices that reflect their personal style.

Tone-on-Tone Checkerboard Flooring

Gone are the days of plain black and white checkerboard designs. Expect to see colorful, tone-on-tone checkerboard flooring that adds a playful yet sophisticated touch to spaces.

Colorful Bathroom Fixtures

Say goodbye to boring white sinks! Creative renovators are opting for colorful bathroom fixtures that make a statement.

Mosaic Tile in Fresh Colors

Mosaic tiles are making a comeback, but with a twist—expect fresh colors and unexpected designs that breathe new life into spaces.
