Australia's Tallest Skyscraper: A Bold Vision by BKK Architects and Cottee Parker

Architecture studios BKK Architects and Cottee Parker have unveiled plans for a supertall skyscraper on the Gold Coast, set to become Australia's tallest building. This ambitious project, developed by Baracon and developer Tony Goss, features twin towers: a 60-storey commercial tower and a 101-storey residential tower, soaring to nearly 400 metres high.

Breaking Records

If completed, One Park Lane will surpass the Q1 Tower and a proposed 356-metre skyscraper in Melbourne by UNStudio and Cox Architects. The project, currently under assessment by the City of Gold Coast council, aims to address local housing shortages and boost commercial infrastructure.

Design Highlights

  • Curved glass bridge connecting the towers at the 22nd level, offering panoramic views.
  • Sculptural podium with large arches at the base, enhancing street-level interaction.
  • Over 11,500 square metres of office space in the commercial tower.
  • 176 luxury apartments in the residential tower, including a three-story penthouse.
