Google's Circle to Search Gets a Sleek Makeover: Discover the New Design!

Since its launch last year, Google's Circle to Search has undergone several design changes, with the latest update focusing on simplifying the user interface.

At the beginning of 2024, Circle to Search appeared as a pill-shaped field. Google initially introduced a Translate button and later added a Song Search feature, while the Lens shortcut was eventually removed.
In December, a more complex design was tested, incorporating all features into a single pill-shaped container. However, this design was critiqued for its complexity and was subsequently removed from user access.
Now, Google is back with a streamlined design that enhances usability. When activated, the panel smoothly slides up as a single element, providing a cleaner animation experience. The close and overflow menu buttons are now circular, and the search microphone has been redesigned to match the other buttons instead of using Google's traditional color scheme.
This new design is currently being tested within the latest Google app and has not yet been widely rolled out.
