Kendall Jenner's Elegant Christmas: The Allure of Quiet Luxury in Design

The Essence of Quiet Luxury

Quiet luxury, often referred to as 'old money' style, is making waves in the design world as we approach 2025. This trend emphasizes quality over quantity, showcasing understated elegance—a style that American model and socialite Kendall Jenner has perfectly embodied in her warm, minimalist living room during the festive season.

This aesthetic embraces subtle color palettes and luxurious materials, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere that stands in stark contrast to modern minimalism. As Dayna Isom Johnson, Etsy's design expert, notes, it’s about making every corner of your home significant and integrating well-crafted pieces that endure over time.

Jenner's Christmas Decor

Kendall Jenner's Christmas living room exemplifies how a sophisticated color palette and timeless decor can create a beautiful holiday setting. Decorated in a traditional green and red color scheme, her living space evokes nostalgia, reflecting on Christmases past. The historical roots of using red and green during the holidays symbolize nature's bounty, making them perennial favorites.

Lucy Uren, the creative director of Rowen & Wren, adds, 'There’s a quiet charm to traditional Christmas decor ideas that feels both familiar and comforting.' Incorporating heirlooms, vintage details, and childhood color schemes brings a timeless soulfulness to holiday decor.

Embracing Timelessness

The enduring appeal of the red and green color combination is evident, as it remains a classic that many return to year after year, despite the evolving trends. This timeless aesthetic is less about following a specific trend and more about cultivating an atmosphere that exudes quiet luxury and understated elegance.
