Pocket Casts for iOS has received a fresh visual overhaul this week, adopting Apple's Liquid Glass design language. This update brings a translucent, depth-filled interface that feels "lighter, glassier, and a little more magical."
Liquid Glass Comes to Pocket Casts
Introduced with iOS 26 and refined in iOS 27, Liquid Glass emphasizes translucent surfaces, depth, light, and motion. Pocket Casts now embraces this aesthetic, transforming its interface into a modern, immersive experience.

Other New Features in This Update
Beyond the redesign, Pocket Casts 8.13 includes practical improvements:
- Context menus on podcast pages
- Chapter art in the mini player
- Two-line episode titles in Up Next
- Tinted podcast artwork for widgets
- Multi-select mode hides the tab bar for more space
- Improved gestures for player dismissal
- Better scrolling behavior
- Corrected "Show Archived" toggle during search
- Fewer artwork placeholder flashes in the full player
Pocket Casts is available in the App Store.
