Reviving Bauhaus: Stunning Pop Culture Posters That Blend Classic and Contemporary

Discover the Bauhaus Your Haus Etsy Shop

The Bauhaus Your Haus Etsy shop is a treasure trove of vibrant posters that elegantly merge 20th-century Bauhaus aesthetics with modern pop culture. Inspired by the iconic art movement, Elisha Pilcer, a Melbourne-based artist, brings a fresh perspective to classic design principles.

A Unique Artistic Vision

Elisha’s designs reflect the Bauhaus philosophy that a drawing is simply a line going for a walk, a concept popularized by Paul Klee during his time at the Bauhaus school. Each print showcases geometric shapes, limited color palettes, and simplified graphics that highlight the movement's enduring relevance.

Diverse Subject Matter

The posters cover a wide range of themes, from pop culture icons like Nintendo’s Mario, Star Trek’s Spock, Elmo, and various Star Wars characters, to tributes to historical figures such as Frank Sinatra, Martin Luther King Jr., and Vincent van Gogh. Additionally, they reinterpret famous artworks like Gustav Klimt's The Kiss and Hokusai's Great Wave off Kanagawa.

Clever Homages to Bauhaus Aesthetics

Each piece serves as a clever homage to the Bauhaus aesthetic, tailored to contemporary tastes. The Bauhaus Your Haus Etsy shop offers worldwide shipping, and custom designs are available for those seeking something unique.
