Revolutionizing Urban Living: Hooba Design Group's High-Rise Villas in Iran

Hooba Design Group's Vision
Architecture studio Hooba Design Group has unveiled plans for the Marbella Residential Complex in Kelarabad, Iran. This innovative project aims to create a series of stacked villas, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional apartment blocks.

A New Housing Typology
Spanning 38,477 square meters, the complex features high-rise villas that integrate regional architecture and adhere to local environmental laws. According to the studio, "the residential pattern has changed from an apartment pattern to high-rise villas, allowing for unique typologies on any plot of land."
Sustainable Design Principles
Hooba Design Group emphasizes the importance of sustainability in this project. The design incorporates methods that align with the local geography and knowledge of the region, promoting an eco-friendly living environment.
Architectural Features
The proposal showcases a network of raised, pitched volumes, each supported by large columns. Ground-level spaces will feature a grassy base with additional spaces, while expansive seating areas will be sheltered under the villas. The design includes:
- Variably sized volumes with large openings and glazed fronts, leading to planted terraces.
- Elongated roof terraces connected by external staircases, enhancing outdoor living.
- Interiors designed with wood and glass, featuring open-plan layouts and swimming pools.

Rainwater Harvesting
A key feature of the complex is its sustainability measures, including the collection and purification of rainwater, aiming to create a self-sufficient ecosystem for energy and water supply.

The visualizations provided by Hooba Design Group highlight the modern and sustainable approach to residential living in Iran, setting a new standard for urban architecture.
