🔧 Integration Consultant (Contract)

We’re hiring an Integration Designer to join a national defence-related transformation program.

This is a complex, multi-year systems integration involving PLM, CAD, ERP, and low-code platforms, currently moving from high-level design into detailed build and delivery.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, product specialists, and integration architects, helping translate functional requirements into working system integrations.

🧩 What You’ll Do

• Finalise functional specs and support the technology release phase
• Draft and validate integration designs between key systems (CAD, PLM, ERP)
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements through workshops and interviews
• Support the transition from design to build, reviewing implementation fidelity
• Define and support test scenarios for integrated systems

🎯 Who You Are

• Proven experience in system integration projects (ideally from design through to implementation)
• You understand integration concepts (e.g. calling APIs, data flows) even if you're not coding hands-on
• Comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments and digging to get the answers, communication skills are a must!
• Background in engineering or experience with maintenance or asset-heavy industries is a bonus
• Knowledge of PLM, CAD, ERP systems is a need!
• Experience with tools like Boomi or OpenPDM, are a bonus
• Strong communicator with a polite, client-friendly, persistent approach

🔐 Other Info

• Must be eligible for Baseline Security Clearance (NV1 ideal)
• 🏠 Virtual/Remote (occasional national travel)
• 💰 Up to $1000/day incl. super (maybe more for the right person)
• 📆 Start ASAP | 6 to 12 month contract
• 🤝 Report to Integration Architect and work closely with the broader team.
