Interior Design Consultant

Brief role introduction:

Ardent Blue is seeking an Interior Design Consultant for a short-term remote contract to elevate the design of an in-progress real-time architectural visualization project. You will refine spatial layouts, material selections, and furnishing choices to achieve a luxury-tier interior standard.

Responsibilities:

Planning:

1. Work within existing finish selections for floors, tiles, and walls.
2. Create mood boards based on client references and target style notes.
3. Define palettes and style direction to ensure consistency across spaces.

Review and refinement:

1. Review dressed and lit renders and recommend layout, palette, and décor adjustments.
2. Annotate deliverables and provide clear, actionable design guidance.

Bonus:

1. Source suitable 3D assets for use in the Unreal Engine.
2. Identify opportunities to enhance the appeal via atmosphere and realism.

Qualifications:

Required:

1. Available to start within 7 days.
2. Extremely fast and punctual technical skills - expert with tools to quickly annotate and provide feedback, create visuals.
3. Clearly expert level design portfolio that includes paid, client-delivered, luxury tier work for real clients.
4. Ability to create a layout, mood board, and asset references for a bedroom in several hours.
5. Ability to review a visual design render for a room/space by annotating and providing written direction, within 60 minutes.
6. Arch Viz experience.

Bonus:

1. 3D Asset sourcing expertise.
2. Ability to make design choices that allows for photoreal Unreal Engine rendering.
