Required skills:

Advanced scripting: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions Glide API, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and server-side scripting Service Portal & UI Builder development Flow Designer & Workflow Editor automation Integration Hub spokes and custom REST/SOAP integrations Scoped applications development focus ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge) JavaScript (ES5/ES6) REST & SOAP Web Services JSON, XML, MID Server configuration LDAP & SSO integrations Performance analytics & reporting ACLs, security rules & data policies Upgrade management & instance cloning ATF (Automated Test Framework) Architecture & Leadership Solution design & technical architecture Instance strategy (Dev/Test/Prod governance) Best practice implementation aligned with SN standards

Nice to have skills: Code review & performance optimization Mentoring junior developers.
