Role Description

We are looking for a Game Artist to help shape the visual identity of our next generation of games. This is a role for an artist who combines strong illustration skills with production awareness, creative ownership, and a passion for crafting eye-catching game experiences from concept through launch and live maintenance. As a Game Artist, you will play a key part in the full game production cycle, working closely with the Head of Art, Game Teams, animators, illustrators, developers, and production stakeholders to bring each title to life. You will turn ideas into compelling visuals, refine concepts into polished assets, and help ensure every game meets AvatarUX’s high visual standards. AvatarUX emphasizes engaging products, immersive game design, and visually appealing player experiences.

What you’ll do

• Participate in game production from concept to release and maintenance, delivering high-quality, visually striking games
• Partner with the Head of Art and Game Teams to fully realize each game’s vision, theme, and artistic direction
• Create concept art and final in-game illustrations
• Design UI elements for slot games
• Finalize, refine, and polish existing concepts to production-ready quality
• Work in line with priorities set by the Game Producer
• Prepare clean, organized source files for animation handoff
• Export image assets according to internal specifications and guidelines
• Collaborate smoothly with illustrators, animators, and developers across the pipeline
• Continuously develop your craft and stay current with art, tools, and technology trends
• Keep up to date with technologies used across the company
• Follow IT security guidelines and maintain updated software
• Help ensure company resources are protected
• Contribute actively to the everyday development workflow

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Game Artist, Illustrator, or similar art role in games
• Strong portfolio showing concept art, in-game illustration, and polished production assets
• Excellent digital painting skills, especially in hand-painted game art and UI
• Strong eye for composition, color, readability, and visual storytelling
• Solid understanding of production pipelines and how to prepare files for animation and implementation
• Ability to balance creativity with deadlines, feedback, and production priorities
• Collaborative mindset and confidence working in cross-functional teams
• High standards for file organization, consistency, and detail
• Genuine interest in evolving tools, workflows, and game art trends
• Capacity to work with AI Generative tools included in the workflow for swift iterative processes.
