Job Overview:

Are you a Senior Angular Developer that wants to WFH in either Australia or New Zealand? Flexible hours and impactful projects with little politics to get in the way of writitng code?

As an Angular Developer at Aviato, you will be responsible for building dynamic, scalable, and responsive web applications. You will work closely with our design, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality applications for enterprise-level projects. We expect you to have a strong passion for front-end development, with an emphasis on modern web standards and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Angular
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate with RESTful and OpenAPI backends, ensuring smooth data communication.
• Implement best practices for application performance, maintainability, and code quality.
• Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs and services.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest Angular releases, features, and development best practices.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development with Angular.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience in building and optimizing complex Angular applications, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, and integrating external services.
• Experience working with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX concepts and ability to collaborate with designers.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, BitBucket, and Confluence.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Angular Material, RxJS, or NgRx for state management.
• Familiarity with GCP and cloud-based web applications.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and working in an Agile environment.
• Previous experience working on enterprise-level projects.
