UX Engineer

Emil Larsson is looking for a UX Design Engineer to join the research team of a leading digital pathology company and help shape the next generation of scientific tools used in digital pathology and biomedical research. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, engineering, and science, and who is excited by the challenge of transforming complex research workflows into intuitive, efficient user experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Drive UX design for advanced research software used by scientists and pathologists

• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to understand user needs

• Translate technical and scientific requirements into clear, thoughtful designs

• Develop prototypes and lead user testing to validate design decisions

• Contribute to the evolution of our design system and UX best practices

About You

• 3+ years of experience in UX UI with experience working in complex or technical domains

• Comfortable working with design tools

• Experience working on research tools, scientific software.

• Empathetic, detail oriented, and motivated by impact in real world scientific discovery

• Fluent in English
