About the Job:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency, and a genuine passion for music and culture. You will support senior creatives by designing assets across digital, social, and product touchpoints, while learning and growing within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
What you will do:
- Design digital and social assets including banners, promotional graphics, email elements, and internal brand materials.
- Visual design, motion graphics, and asset creation.
- Support senior designers and creative leadership on larger campaigns and projects.
- Translate creative direction into clean, organized, production-ready designs.
- Follow brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all platforms.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh design ideas.
- Assist with preparing files for internal teams and external vendors.
- Adapt and resize designs for various formats and platforms.
- Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to ensure visual alignment.
- Stay updated on design trends, pop culture, and the music industry to bring relevant inspiration.
- Manage multiple small projects at a time while meeting deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Design and produce digital and promotional assets such as banners, playlists, and cover artwork.
- Edit and retouch photos and campaign imagery to maintain visual consistency.
- Develop motion graphics and text overlays for video and social content.
- Work closely with Creative Director and content producer to ensure visual alignment across all channels.
- Contribute creative ideas during concept development and campaign planning.
Who you are:
- 1–2 years of design experience (agency, in-house, or strong internship experience).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma experience is a plus.
- A solid portfolio showcasing clean design, creativity, and understanding of visual hierarchy.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout fundamentals.
- Ability to take feedback well and execute revisions quickly and accurately.
- Clear communicator who works well with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Passionate about design, music, youth culture, and trends.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and grow within the role.
Where you'll be:
This role will be remote.
BPM Music offices are located in a vibrant, creative district that fosters innovation and collaboration.
Travel 1–2 times to San Diego HQ may be required per quarter depending on project needs.
