Head of Design

The Head of Design at Bragi will lead our design team with a strong emphasis on user experience (UX), AI User Experience, and acoustic interfaces. This role focuses on driving innovation in the audio & wearable, specifically headphones industry, with the mission to push forward AI product interaction based on contextual input and acoustic interfaces. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of UX, experience in audio, and the ability to integrate AI-driven interactions to create cutting-edge products.

Head of Design

This is a remote role, but you are welcome to join us in our Munich office

Tasks

• Lead and manage the design team, fostering creativity and collaboration
• Develop and execute a design vision aligned with company goals and market trends
• Align with C-level and all relevant stakeholders, challenge the status quo and develop a design strategy to support Roadmap and company goals
• Oversee the UX design process, ensuring user-centric and intuitive experiences
• Enhance user experiences in AI headphone products using audio technology and acoustic interfaces
• Integrate AI into product design for seamless AI-driven interactions
• Ensure a coherent brand and design language across all channels
• Mentor and develop the design team, fostering innovation and conducting performance reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Industrial Design, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in design, with a strong background in UX and a focus on technology and consumer electronics
• Experience in the consumer electronics (ideally headphones or audio industry, or acoustics interfaces)
• Design agency experience, leading smaller project teams with an extensive track record working with world leading customers
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma) and prototyping tools
• Strong understanding of AI integration and voice interaction design
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
