Brandscend is an independent, Sydney-based media and branding agency built for the attention economy. We partner with ambitious brands that want real commercial outcomes — not vanity metrics.

Our work spans Paid Media (Traditional & Digital), Full-Funnel Marketing, Branding, Social Media Management, Branded Content, Web Design, and Publication Design. Everything we do is strategic, custom, and performance-driven.

We’re growing and we’re looking for a high-performing business developer who wants uncapped earning potential, autonomy, and the freedom to build something meaningful.

The Opportunity

This is a commission-only role designed for a closer, not a clock-watcher.

You’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new clients into ongoing retainer relationships. You’ll own the sales process end-to-end, with full support from our Founder.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Brandscend’s ideal client profile
  • Generate, qualify, and nurture high-value marketing leads
  • Lead discovery conversations and close clients onto retainers
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers and founders
  • Collaborate internally to ensure smooth onboarding and client success
  • Stay across market trends and competitor activity to inform smarter outreach
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets (because that’s how you earn)

Who This Is For

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Have a proven track record in B2B sales or business development, ideally in marketing, media, or digital
  • Are confident selling high-value services on retainer (not one-off projects)
  • Are self-directed, commercially sharp, and motivated by performance-based income
  • Know how to manage your own pipeline, time, and priorities
  • Communicate clearly, build trust quickly, and close decisively
  • Back yourself enough to choose commission over salary

A degree is not required.... results are.
