The Role

We're looking for a React Native Developer who thrives at the intersection of design and development. You’ll be responsible for implementing new features, refining UI/UX, and helping us build the MVP for launch. You’ll collaborate with another engineer and the founding team to push innovation forward and shape the product experience from both a technical and human-centered design perspective.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain features in React Native using TypeScript

• Collaborate on backend services built with Node.js + Express

• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect interfaces

• Own UI/UX flows and improve user journeys with input from real users

• Work in sprints to hit key product milestones

• Participate in daily 10–15 minute stand-ups

• Participate in code reviews, and experienced using Git.

• Collaborate closely with the founding team to shape product vision

Must-Have Skills

• 6+ years of experience in mobile development

• Expert in React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript

• Proficient in Node.js/Express backend APIs

• Strong eye for design with Figma proficiency

• Solid grasp of UX/UI principles, animation, and responsive layouts

• Experience with Expo, EAS Build, and Git workflows

• Familiarity with async/await, secure API calls, and mobile performance optimization

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with React Reanimated, Maps, Push Notifications, or Skia

• Startup or MVP launch experience

• Apple Store Experience

• Passion for community, connection, or social impact tech
