Videographer

I’m seeking two consultants: 1) a Videographer and 2) a Video Editor - 2D/3D Animator for contract roles at Autodesk, a global leader in software for 3D design, engineering, and entertainment. Their motto is “Make Anything”. We are seeking candidates that have documentary style storytelling.

The interview process: Reel or Portfolio Review + 1-2 interview rounds.

Role #1: VIDEOGRAPHER (JP9328) - Reel link requiredPay Rate: $58.62/hr W2

Field-based role focused on documentary-style storytelling for Autodesk’s global teams. You will capture customer success stories and product impact through high-quality video in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production: Lead small crews or operate as a solo unit managing camera, professional lighting, and audio.
• Storytelling: Film interviews and B-roll; guide subjects to draw out authentic, narrative-driven responses.
• Post-Prep: Deliver organized raw footage, synced audio, and perform light assemblies/string-outs.
• Collaboration: Align with producers and editors to meet corporate and creative goals.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years’ experience in videography/cinematography with a strong documentary/branded reel.
• Expertise in professional lighting, audio capture, and high-end camera systems.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, corporate, and client-facing environments.
• Willingness to travel.

Role #2: VIDEO EDITOR - 2D/3D ANIMATOR (JP9326) - portfolio link requiredPay Rate: $65.30/hr W2

A creative role focused on transforming business concepts into high-impact "edutainment" for the Autodesk Explore platform. You will blend documentary-style editing with high-end 2D/3D motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing: Shape compelling narrative arcs from raw interviews and unscripted footage.
• Animation: Design 2D and 3D motion graphics to explain complex product and sales concepts.
• Finishing: Apply advanced color grading and sound design to elevate production quality.
• Strategy: Collaborate with designers and SMEs to create effective micro-enablement content.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years’ experience in video editing and motion design.
• Expert Toolset: Premiere Pro, After Effects, and 3D software (Maya, Cinema 4D, or Blender).
• Proven ability to translate technical/complex ideas into clear visual stories.

Strong portfolio showcasing documentary-style pacing and high-end animation.
