Job Description
Posted on: November 16, 2025
Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior iOS Engineer - Crypto - this is a fully remote role for US-based candidates. Salary range: 250-375K USD yearly.
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you’ll be the mobile lead for shaping how users engage with this new asset layer—bringing exceptional UI/UX for consumers, creators, and communities. You will drive the architecture, development and evolution of our native iOS application(s). You’ll collaborate with UX/design, product, Web3 and backend teams to deliver a slick, intuitive mobile experience that makes on‑chain asset interactions feel simple, elegant and trustworthy. You’ll act both as hands‑on technical contributor and as a mentor/lead shaping the mobile team and design‑driven engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead the design and development of the iOS app for the platform, focusing on consumer‑facing flows: token discovery, launch, trading, social interactions, wallet connectivity, onboarding, notifications.
-
Partner closely with UI/UX designers to translate high‑fidelity designs into polished native iOS interfaces—animations, transitions, adaptive layouts, accessibility, dark/light modes, internationalisation.
-
Architect and implement reusable modules, frameworks and mobile architecture best practices (e.g., MVVM/Clean Architecture, reactive programming, modularisation, dependency injection), ensuring scalability and maintainability.
-
Collaborate with product/design to define mobile‑specific user journeys, usability, retention drivers, micro‑interactions, onboarding conversion, and mobile‑first social features.
-
Ensure performance, reliability and security of the app: crash‑free, responsive, battery‑efficient, secure key handling (if wallet or token flows), network resilience, caching, offline support.
-
Use analytics and telemetry to monitor mobile behaviour (engagement, retention, conversion), define instrumentation, iterate on UX and performance improvements.
-
Mentor and guide other mobile engineers: code reviews, mobile best practices, mobile dev culture, continuous delivery, testing strategy (unit, UI, integration).
-
Stay abreast of iOS platform/OS advances, Web3/mobile intersection trends and propose improvements to toolchain, architecture, and user interface paradigms.
Required Qualifications
-
3+ years of professional experience in native iOS application development, shipping consumer‑facing apps to the App Store.
-
Demonstrable portfolio of iOS apps with strong UI/UX polish: fluid animations, refined transitions, customised UI components, adaptive layouts, accessibility features.
-
Excellent proficiency in Swift (and UIKit/SwiftUI) and experience in designing architecture for large‑scale production apps.
-
Understanding of mobile UX design principles, human‑interface guidelines (Apple HIG), and keen attention to design details and interaction quality.
-
Strong collaboration skills with designers and product teams - comfortable participating in discovery, defining mobile flows, iterations.
-
Experience with performance optimisation (startup time, memory/CPU, UI responsiveness), mobile analytics instrumentation, and crash/performance monitoring.
-
Solid experience mentoring others, establishing mobile engineering practices, leading code reviews and mobile team culture.
-
Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, across distributed global teams.
-
Passion for Web3 or willingness to dive into the blockchain/mobile frontier and mobile user experiences for token‐launch & social finance.
What You’ll Get
-
Opportunity to shape the mobile experience of a cutting‑edge Web3 platform that re‑imagines how creators, communities and social engagement can launch assets and interact with tokens.
-
A design‑driven engineering culture where mobile UX matters as much as backend and protocol.
-
Working with a small/high‑impact mobile team where your contributions will be visible and valued.
-
Exposure to global markets, social/mobile behaviour, community‑driven models and bleeding‑edge Web3/mobile interactions.
-
An environment of rapid experimentation, mobile innovation and real user behaviour feedback.
