Technical Co-Founder (Full-Stack – Flutter, NestJS, (TypeScript)

About the RoleCHAAMO is seeking a Technical Co-Founder (Full-Stack) to help finalise our marketplace app and prepare it for launch. The platform is already built using Flutter and NestJS (which is TypeScript-based), and is nearly ready for testing. We're now looking for a hands-on technical partner to lead final development, optimise the stack, and help take CHAAMO to market.

This is an equity-only position for someone entrepreneurial who’s excited to co-own and co-launch a product with strong traction in an underserved niche.

About CHAAMOCHAAMO is a mobile-first marketplace designed specifically for trading card collectors and sellers, from Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering to Yu-Gi-Oh! and sports cards. The current online selling experience is fragmented across general-purpose platforms, social media, and forums. CHAAMO brings everything into one intuitive mobile platform.

With built-in listings, eBay API support, direct messaging, shipping, and payment features, we’re making buying and selling cards faster, easier, and community-driven.

What You’ll Do

As a full-stack Technical Co-Founder, you'll take ownership of both mobile and backend development:

• Finalise and Launch the App: Complete development of the existing Flutter app (iOS and Android), polish features, fix bugs, and prepare for testing.
• Own Backend Systems: Manage and extend our NestJS/NodeJS backend and ensure smooth data handling and business logic.
• Handle DevOps and Infrastructure: Use AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, SNS) to maintain and scale the system.
• Integrate APIs: Finalise integrations with eBay APIs, and implement Shippo for shipping and PayPal for transactions.
• Collaborate on Product Strategy: Work alongside the founding team to prioritise features and shape the post-launch roadmap.
• Prepare for Growth: Ensure systems are built to handle increased user traffic and data as the marketplace scales.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone with strong technical foundations and a builder’s mindset. You might be a solo developer, tech lead, or ex-startup engineer looking to step into a co-founder role.

You should:

• Have built and launched Flutter apps for both iOS and Android
• Be confident working in NestJS/NodeJS on backend development
• Have experience managing AWS infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Know how to work with APIs, especially marketplace and logistics/payment APIs (e.g. eBay, Shippo, PayPal)
• Understand marketplace app architecture, listings, messaging, user accounts, search, etc.
• Be self-directed, organised, and ready to lead all aspects of technical development
• Be excited to join an early-stage venture and build something meaningful with real users in mind
