Role DescriptionThe Marketing Coordinator / Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives and developing targeted email marketing campaigns that strengthen brand awareness, generate leads, improve customer engagement, and support business growth. This role combines campaign coordination, content management, marketing automation, and performance analysis to deliver effective, data-driven marketing communications.Key responsibilities include planning, creating, scheduling, and executing email marketing campaigns across various customer segments while ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and customer lifecycle strategies. The role develops email templates, manages subscriber lists, performs audience segmentation, conducts A/B testing, and optimizes campaign workflows to improve engagement and conversion rates.The position coordinates integrated marketing activities by managing content calendars, supporting social media initiatives, assisting with promotional campaigns, event marketing, and product launches, and ensuring consistent messaging across digital channels. It collaborates closely with marketing, sales, product, design, and customer success teams to deliver cohesive marketing campaigns and enhance customer experiences.The role monitors and analyzes campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, unsubscribe rates, engagement levels, and return on investment (ROI). It prepares marketing reports and dashboards, identifies trends, and recommends data-driven improvements to optimize campaign performance and audience targeting.The position also supports customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation workflows, lead nurturing programs, database management, and compliance with email marketing regulations and data privacy requirements. It stays informed about digital marketing trends, email marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.QualificationsStrong understanding of digital marketing, email marketing, content marketing, campaign management, customer segmentation, lead generation, marketing automation, and customer engagement strategies.Proficiency in email marketing platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, marketing automation tools, content management systems (CMS), spreadsheet applications, analytics platforms, and reporting tools. Familiarity with HTML email templates, SEO principles, Google Analytics, and A/B testing methodologies is an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret marketing data, evaluate campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations.Knowledge of email deliverability, audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, customer journey mapping, lead nurturing, marketing compliance requirements, and digital communication best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging, brand-consistent marketing content, prepare professional reports, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
