Connecting Plots is looking for a CRM & Website Content Manager to join our team and work across one of Australia’s leading automotive brands.
This is a hands-on role for someone who sits comfortably at the intersection of CRM, content and copywriting.
You’ll own the day-to-day planning and delivery of always-on CRM communications and website content — from working out what we need to say and who we need to say it to, through to writing the copy, coordinating creative and builds, managing approvals and getting the work live.
This role is about owning the content and communications layer — understanding the customer journey, shaping the message, writing great copy and making sure the work gets delivered properly. If you understand customer journeys, love writing, and are good at keeping lots of moving pieces moving, we’d love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
CRM & lifecycle marketing
- Plan and deliver always-on CRM communications across prospects, new customers and existing owners
- Manage and evolve nurture and lifecycle journeys, including lead follow-up, behavioural triggers, onboarding, service and retention communications
- Use customer behaviour and first-party data to help determine audience, messaging, timing and next-best actions
- Manage multiple CRM sends each week from brief through to deployment
Content & copywriting
- Write CRM communications end-to-end — from subject lines and headlines through to body copy and CTAs
- Turn loose or sometimes evolving briefs into clear, customer-focused communications
- Adapt messaging to different audiences and stages of the customer journey while maintaining a distinctive brand voice
- Manage and refresh website content across models, features, offers and brand news
- Work with existing website templates and architecture to keep content accurate, engaging and up to date
Creative & production
- Brief and coordinate CRM layouts and creative in Figma
- Source approved imagery and manage product information, disclaimers and legal requirements
- Coordinate CRM builds, testing, QC, approvals and final handover
- Keep multiple jobs moving against tight and sometimes overlapping deadlines
Stakeholder management
- Work closely with client CRM, website, brand and product teams
- Run regular WIPs and manage briefs, feedback and approvals
- Collaborate with Connecting Plots' account, creative, social and content teams to ensure communications are consistent across channels
- Bring structure and momentum when priorities change or briefs aren't completely defined
Performance & optimisation
- Monitor CRM and website content performance and identify opportunities to improve
- Apply learnings to future content, journeys and communications
- Ensure work meets brand, legal and regulatory requirements
About you
We're looking for someone with around 4–5+ years' experience across CRM, lifecycle/email marketing, digital content or a similar role.
You'll ideally bring:
- Strong copywriting and editing skills — you genuinely enjoy writing
- Hands-on experience with an ESP or CRM platform such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar
- A solid understanding of customer journeys, segmentation and lifecycle marketing
- Experience managing website or CMS content
- Working knowledge of Figma or similar design tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills
- The confidence to ask the right questions, challenge unclear briefs and keep work moving
- The ability to manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously without losing sight of the detail
Experience in automotive, retail, financial services, travel or another considered-purchase category would be highly regarded.
About Connecting Plots
Who is Connecting Plots?
Everything a brand does tells a story and we believe the most successful brands are those who connect their story perfectly across everything they do. That’s where we fit in.
We’re an Effie awarded creative agency who connect all the plots in a brand’s story by combining brand, media, creative and production thinking under one roof.
A Creative Agency Where Old Meets New…
Sometimes to pioneer the future we must look back to what’s worked in the past.
We’re a motley crew of old school thinkers and new world dreamers. A deliberate blend of advertising, entertainment, media, digital and production people who apply proven advertising practices with new media thinking to make every nook and cranny of the marketing mix work as hard as possible.
It’s why we give as many fucks about killer EDM’s as we do about making great ads.
Why Work With Us?
We promise that when your time at CP comes to an end you’ll be better off for it. You’ll see the world and the industry from a different perspective. You’ll become obsessed with business impact through brilliant imaginative ideas that are brought to life perfectly in every single impression.
You’ll enjoy every day in a high performing team with no bullshit culture that genuinely wants to change the industry for the better and cares for nothing more than making great work and getting greedy after results. For us results are what matter. It’s our crack pipe. If you want to work for an agency that prioritises awards over results or the happiness of people then we’re not the place for you.
We have official partnerships with all the major platforms such as Google / YouTube (aka the internet), Meta, Snap and TikTok. This means we’re always on the bleeding edge of what’s next (and we all know these guys love an update). We also have an always on approach to development and training across all departments.
We’re a values led culture with a commitment to creating a culture of freedom and responsibility. We’re 3 days in - 2 days at home. And that’s important. We’re a creative business and we need to be together to solve things and to make a mess. But not all the time. Work from home time is for getting stuff done with mandatory, company wide internal meeting block-outs.
We think of ourselves as a pro-sports team and we know that recovery days are just as important as game day. Each quarter, a Plotter who has lived and breathed the company values scores a special prize.
What we can offer you
In joining us, you’ll have the opportunity to become part of a fast growing independent creative agency with the ability to make great work across a breadth of clients in different sectors.
We believe in continually developing, supporting and training our team members to create the best environment for them to succeed and further their skills. As a member of our team you’ll be exposed to a variety of creative professionals with unique and varying skill sets you can learn from, and become an important role player in developing work you can be proud of.
If this sparks your interest, please apply or send your resume and cover letter to sophia@connectingplots.com
