Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a BIM Modeler at ConnectyBIM. The BIM Modeler will develop, update, and maintain detailed 3D models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for architecture and MEP disciplines. Responsibilities include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring models accurately reflect design intent and site conditions. The role involves detecting and resolving clashes, preparing model-based documentation, and supporting design and construction workflows throughout the project lifecycle. The BIM Modeler will collaborate virtually with architects, engineers, and contractors, adhering to project standards, timelines, and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows
- Experience in architecture and model development for building projects
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and coordination
- Ability to read, interpret, and translate construction drawings into accurate models
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Attention to detail, strong spatial and analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and documentation standards
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams
