Role Overview
As the Creative Strategist / Designer, you will lead the evolution of our visual identity across all paid and organic channels. This is a dual-threat role that requires both high-level strategic thinking and hands-on design execution. You will be responsible for translating performance insights into high-converting assets, owning the creative process from initial concept to final export. By leveraging modern AI tools and staying ahead of platform trends, you will ensure my client maintains a premium brand feel while hitting aggressive performance targets.
What You’ll Do
- Creative Strategy: Drive the overarching creative direction for paid social, ensuring every asset is rooted in a specific hypothesis or performance insight.
- Asset Execution: Design and produce high-quality static images, motion graphics, and video edits specifically optimized for Meta, Google, and TikTok.
- AI Production: Utilize generative AI tools to accelerate the ad creation process, from background replacement and image expansion to rapid prototyping of new concepts.
- Performance Iteration: Analyze creative winners and losers alongside the growth team to develop "version 2.0" iterations that extend the life and efficiency of top-performing concepts.
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain a consistent visual language across all touchpoints, ensuring that performance-focused creative still aligns with our premium brand positioning.
- Market Research: Monitor competitor creative and broader DTC trends to identify new "hooks" and content formats that can be tested within our ecosystem.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of design experience within a high-growth DTC brand or performance creative agency.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design and video editing software.
- Hands on experience using AI generative tools to enhance and streamline the creative production workflow.
- Strong understanding of direct response principles, including hook rates, hold rates, and conversion-focused design.
- Ability to self-direct and move quickly from a raw idea to a polished, launch-ready asset.
- Data literate professional who enjoys looking at performance metrics to inform the next creative sprint.
- Excellent communicator who can articulate the "why" behind creative decisions to non-creative stakeholders.
