Position: Fine Artist (Painter / Sculptor / Illustrator)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $60–$100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design creative, occupation-specific questions and scenarios based on real-world fine arts practice.
• Apply professional artistic expertise to support AI research and evaluation efforts.
• Create structured content reflecting artistic techniques, workflows, and creative decision-making.
• Review and refine AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, and creative fidelity.
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams while working independently.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a fine artist (painting, sculpture, illustration, or related fields).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate creative processes in writing.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, project-based environment.
