Senior UX/UI Designer - iOS Apps

Position Overview We are a small but mighty iOS Apps creative arts company. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team focused on creating exceptional user experiences for our iOS applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user-centric design principles and a passion for crafting visually stunning and highly functional interfaces. Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for iOS applications that align with user needs and company goals.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on design concepts.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and responsive layouts that adhere to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG).
• Develop and maintain design systems and components for consistent user experience across our apps.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Utilize typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy to enhance the overall user experience.
• Implement pixel-perfect execution of designs and ensure high-quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a UX/UI designer for iOS applications with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• In-depth knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and best practices in mobile app design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of information architecture and user-centered design principles.
• Excellent skills in typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience creating user-friendly interfaces for creative applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, HCI, UX Design, or related field.
• Master's degree in Interaction, HCI, or UX Design preferred, but not required.

Benefits

• Base salary: $150,000 - $170,000 base DOE
• We value a good work-life balance. That means flexible hours and a low stress workplace.
• Autonomy: How you want to work and where you work are up to you. We will pay your co-working expenses up to $400 per month.
• Expenses: We will pay for your business expenses and will pay for 50% of all equipment expenses such as computers, phones, and tablets.
• Fridays are half-day.
• Health insurance: Everyone is enrolled in their own individual health insurance plan. We will reimburse 100% of you and your family's monthly premium bills for health and dental up to a Gold level on the ACA Marketplace or similar plan. The reimbursement plan is subject to change.
• Vacation time: Unlimited
• Retirement: 401(k) plan with 100% employee match up to 6% of compensation, which will be available after the 60-days from the start date.
• Travel: We will pay for all work related travel expenses including transportation, meals, and stay.
