About the Job
The Technical Partner Account Manager is responsible for developing new partners in the assigned European region, driving and expanding partner relationships, and establishing clear partner development plans. Crucially, this role will lead technical product demonstrations and enablement workshops for partners, working closely with the marketing team to integrate impactful go-to-market strategies. He/she will continue to support and nurture existing partnerships—including working active opportunities with them, managing the pipeline, and driving technical buy-in within the partner’s customer base for D5 solutions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Identifying and prioritizing relationships with partners that will ultimately drive increased sourced pipeline and bookings for D5.
- Acting as the primary technical evangelist for the channel, conducting high-impact product live demos, and translating D5’s real-time rendering value proposition to partners and enterprise architecture studios.
- Ensuring effective and timely co-selling motions with our direct sales force, supporting partners during key technical evaluation and proof-of-concept (POC) stages.
- Establishing yourself as the point person for day-to-day account management inquiries and performance concerns, ensuring ongoing business and technical enablement of our solutions.
- Modeling exceptional partner account management that delivers sales and service excellence.
- Driving the growth and development of mutually beneficial working relationships with account teams and key internal partners, leveraging work from and collaborating with other teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven track record in building alliance partner programs or channel sales within software markets, with a strong preference for the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or 3D visualization/rendering market.
- Successful track record of exceeding business development, enablement, and booking goals.
- Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of 3D/AEC design workflows. Hands-on experience with mainstream design software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Archicad) or rendering tools is highly desirable.
- Experience in personally managing end-to-end partner enablement plans, encompassing both commercial business development and technical product training/knowledge transfer.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal direct sales, marketing, and product teams to successfully close complex deals.
- Ability to develop with partners a quantifiable business case that drives the partner’s investment of both time and money.
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior executives and owners within the partner community.
- Exceptional communicator and listener, highly empathetic to partner and designer needs, with the ability to bridge the gap between business value and technical features.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
