THE ROLE

At Diaspora AI, we tell real stories about real people. Travel is personal especially for the diaspora community. Getting home, staying connected, navigating borders these aren't just logistics, they're deeply human experiences. And we need someone who can bring that to life on screen.

We're looking for a Creative Content Producer to join us on a freelance contract basis. This is a hybrid creative role that brings together UGC-style storytelling, professional video production, and graphic content creation all in one. You'll be responsible for making Diaspora AI visible, relatable, and impossible to scroll past across every major platform.

This role would suit someone who is equally comfortable shooting an authentic first-person story video as they are producing a polished brand ad and who understands the difference between what works on TikTok versus LinkedIn versus YouTube.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Producing authentic UGC-style video content first-person stories, testimonials, and relatable travel moments that feel organic and real rather than overly produced
• Creating short-form video advertisements optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Producing longer format video assets for YouTube and Facebook campaigns
• Designing static and animated graphic assets for Google Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X
• Writing ad copy and captions for every asset and platform delivered
• Ensuring all content speaks directly and authentically to diaspora and African audiences people who travel home, navigate visa requirements, and rely on platforms like ours
• Delivering all assets in platform-specific formats and dimensions, ready for immediate upload and campaign launch

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A strong portfolio of both UGC-style content and professional brand videos, we need to see range
• Proven ability to create content that performs across multiple platforms
• A natural storyteller who can make a product feel human and relatable, not just advertised
• Experience creating content for African, diaspora, or multicultural audiences is a significant advantage, this is not a generic travel brand and generic content won't work here
• Strong video editing skills for both short and long form content
• Graphic design capability for static and animated assets
• Someone who can take a brief, run with it independently, and deliver on time without constant direction
• Curious, creative, and always thinking about what will actually stop someone from scrolling

Creators who only know one platform or one content format

Anyone who can't show a portfolio of real brand work

People who need extensive handholding to get started

Payment: 50% deposit upfront, 50% on final delivery
