We specialise in building powerful, visually appealing, and user-friendly websites for small businesses and entrepreneurs. We're growing and seeking a talented freelance WordPress Designer to join us on a per-project basis.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom WordPress websites using themes like Astra, Divi, Elementor, or custom code
• Collaborate closely with the project manager to meet client requirements or directly with the client.
• Translate brand style guides and project briefs into engaging site designs
• Optimise websites for SEO, speed, mobile responsiveness, and usability
• Implement plugins and custom functionality as needed
• Maintain quality control and perform cross-browser testing
• Provide training/guidance to clients on CMS use when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience designing WordPress websites (portfolio required)
• Strong grasp of WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (especially Elementor or Divi)
• Good understanding of UX/UI principles
• HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript knowledge
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and feedback carefully
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Comfortable working remotely and independently

Bonus if you have experience in:

• WooCommerce or Shopify
• SEO best practices
• Site migration and speed optimisation
• Creative mindset
