Brand Design Lead
Job Description
Posted on: August 6, 2026
Brand Design LeadRemote (Europe) | Up to £90,000
This isn't a traditional Brand Design Lead role.
If you're looking to spend your week approving artwork, managing a design system or climbing the people-management ladder, this probably isn't for you.
This role is about building.
Building a brand.
Building campaigns.
Building ideas.
Building a creative culture.
Most importantly, building work that people actually remember.
The Opportunity
You'll join a fast-growing global technology business at a pivotal moment in its evolution.
The brand already has strong foundations. The ambition now is to create an in-house creative studio capable of producing work people wouldn't expect from a B2B technology company.
You'll report directly to the Creative Director and work alongside a multidisciplinary team spanning brand, copy, motion, video, product design and marketing.
There are no layers of bureaucracy.
No endless approval chains.
Just talented people solving interesting problems together.
The Role
The title says Brand Design Lead.
In reality, you're a senior creative.
Someone who leads through ideas, judgement and craft rather than hierarchy.
Think:
Campaigns before guidelines.
Brand experiences before brand books.
Films before presentations.
You'll spend your time creating work across campaigns, launches, film, social, events, digital experiences and product storytelling.
Some weeks you'll be defining the creative direction for a global campaign.
Others you'll be helping shape an event, developing a product launch or refining a film.
No two weeks will look exactly the same.
That's exactly the point.
What Success Looks Like
You'll still be making exceptional work yourself.
You'll challenge ideas.
Push concepts further.
Improve the thinking around you.
You'll mentor through critique rather than management.
You'll make everyone else's work stronger simply by being involved.
You're not here to maintain the brand.
You're here to help define where it goes next.
Who You'll Enjoy Working With
This is a team of builders.
People who enjoy creating something from ambiguity rather than waiting for perfectly written briefs.
People who care about the business as much as the project.
People who are naturally curious.
People who enjoy sharing ideas, debating creative approaches and making each other better.
The expectation isn't that you have all the answers.
It's that you're excited by working them out.
You'll Probably Be Someone Who...
Loves making the work.
Still opens Figma every day.
Gets excited by typography, motion, storytelling, film, culture and craft.
Can move comfortably between brand, campaigns, social, product launches and experiences without feeling confined to one discipline.
Understands that a great idea should work everywhere, not just on one asset.
You're proactive.
Collaborative.
Comfortable giving feedback.
Comfortable receiving it.
You're just as interested in solving the business problem as creating something beautiful.
Most importantly, you're looking for somewhere to invest.
Not somewhere to pass through.
You Probably Won't Enjoy This Role If...
You're happiest maintaining existing systems.
You prefer reviewing work to making it.
You need highly structured briefs before getting started.
You're looking for a role centred around governance, approvals or line management.
You see social, content or motion as someone else's responsibility.
In Return
Fully remote across Europe with a salary of up to £90,000.
More importantly, the opportunity to help build one of the most ambitious in-house creative teams in technology.
A role where your influence comes from the quality of your thinking, your ideas and your craft.
Not your job title.
