About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Brand Strategist to take a fast-growing podcast and personal brand (with a community of nearly 500,000 subscribers) to the next level.

This role is not just about podcasting – it’s about turning a powerful personal platform into a commercially sustainable business. You will design and execute monetisation strategies across podcast, social media, partnerships, and broader brand opportunities.

If you’ve successfully scaled a podcast, built brand partnerships, or transformed digital influence into revenue streams, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Podcast Monetisation Strategy – Create and deliver a clear roadmap to monetise the podcast (ads, sponsorships, premium content, brand collaborations).
  • Personal Brand Growth – Develop and execute commercial strategies to leverage a personal following of ~500k across multiple channels.
  • Partnerships & Sponsorships – Source, negotiate, and manage brand deals, sponsorships, and joint ventures.
  • Audience Conversion – Identify ways to turn followers into customers through courses, live events, speaking engagements, merch, or other products.
  • Cross-Platform Expansion – Ensure the podcast and personal brand work together as a cohesive ecosystem that drives reach and revenue.
  • Performance Tracking – Monitor and report on growth, revenue, and ROI of all monetisation activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in podcasting, media strategy, influencer brand building, or digital partnerships.
  • Proven track record of monetising a podcast and/or personal brand with case studies or measurable results.
  • Strong network with advertisers, agencies, and brand partners (Australia and/or US).
  • Experience writing and executing monetisation strategies (not just consulting).
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to spot and secure revenue opportunities.
  • A doer as well as a strategist – able to build and implement, not just advise.
