Description
Multiply is seeking a talented Art Director to join our beverage and consumer brands PR team. You'll lead visual storytelling that elevates our clients' brand presence across media placements, campaigns, and strategic communications. In this role, you'll collaborate with copywriters, account teams, and clients to translate brand strategies into compelling visual concepts that drive media coverage and consumer engagement. Your design expertise and strategic thinking will be essential as you manage multiple brands simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
→ Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers
- Provide directions and guidance to designers
- Ensure all content developed is error-free and follows our client’s brand guidelines before submitting to client or Sr. Art Director
- Ensure visual communication and client brand standards are met
- Troubleshoot design, team or creative process problems as they arise.
- Assist in the development of brand style guide for all clients and ensure it is followed at all times - this includes visual ID and voice/tone.

- Take part in hiring and training of creative staff
- Participate in the career development of the creative team
- Support creation of content shoots, leading creative direction and vision with limited edits from client or Supervisor. On-site, Manage and Direct photo and video shoots
→ Help implement and uphold an efficient and effective creative development process
- Identify work process improvements and work with team to implement
→ Take creative from concept to final execution within deadlines and budgets
- Ensure all creative adheres to brand guidelines and platform best practices (correct color, cropping, style etc.)
- Establish budgets and timelines and ensure creative is delivered within those parameters.
- Ensure all creative developed is error-free and follows our client’s brand guidelines
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Ensure visual communication and client brand standards are met
→ Take the Lead and manage client communication around creative development and execution, proactively answering questions and/or following up on approvals.
- Assist in presentations with clients, communicating ideas and/or presenting new ideas to teams
→ Work with team on copy development for all creative
- Ensure copy meets clients’ brand tone.
- Ensure all copy is error free.
→ Participate in ongoing calls with clients, including:
- Ensuring design updates are represented appropriately on status call agendas
- Ensuring appropriate design action items are included in follow-up email to client
- Lead design discussions during conference call
- Ensure any follow up asks are handled by team in a timely manner.
→ Work with Sr Art Director on account creative planning, including campaign development.
- Demonstrate initiative in leading the planning process and identifying trends and creative concepts for your accounts
- Effectively present ideas to clients and potential clients.
→ Actively participate in brainstorming/creative sessions to generate creative ideas.
- Lead brainstorm sessions for select projects and follow up with top ideas and next steps, as assigned by Sr. Art Director.
→ Monitor for new social media content trends/updates and bring forth content ideas that reflect these findings on a weekly basis.
- Continuously explore new creative approaches and techniques to elevate the Agency, and brand represented
- Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.
→ Work with other members of the art department to evaluate client or company needs, develop project strategies, and create visual elements for ad campaigns.
New Business Outreach+Company Marketing
- Participate in new business pitches
- Manage the development and presentation of creative concepts and overall design direction.
Brainstorms+Creative Trendspotting
- Assist PR and Influencer teams with running brainstorms during planning meetings.
- Help create or streamline thoughtful questions or prompts that drive creative conversation.
- Have the ability to run and lead brainstorms for creative ideation.
- Share notes following brainstorm sessions of top ideas.
- Be the voice and advocate for ongoing trendspotting, regularly sharing news, influencer updates and/or ideas in team Slack channels.
- Participate in conversation with team members around cultural happenings or opportunities for beverage clients.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of art direction experience in agency or in-house marketing role with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling across print, digital, and social platforms
- Expertise in visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and brand identity with proven ability to maintain design consistency across campaigns
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with video production, animation, or motion graphics
- Understanding of how visual design impacts brand perception and consumer behavior; ability to translate strategic insights into compelling visual concepts
- Strong collaboration skills with copywriters, creative directors, and cross-functional teams; ability to take direction and deliver revisions efficiently
- Experience designing for consumer/lifestyle brands and knowledge of platform specifications for social media content
