3D Product Content Designer (Amazon E-commerce)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented 3D Product Content Designer to revolutionize our Amazon product listings. This role is crucial for our e-commerce success, focusing on transforming basic product photos and technical 3D files into stunning, high-converting visual assets, including photorealistic renders, infographics, and enhanced brand content.

The ideal candidate blends advanced 3D rendering expertise with a deep, data-driven understanding of Amazon's conversion best practices and is adept at leveraging emerging AI tools to enhance and accelerate creative production.

Key Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility is to design and produce all visual assets required to maximize product visibility and drive sales on the Amazon platform.
• Brief-Based Production & Asset Creation (Core Task) Execution from Brief: Work independently to interpret detailed creative briefs and execute the entire visual scope for an Amazon product page, ensuring all assets meet the outlined objectives and deadlines.
• Asset Transformation: Convert engineering CAD or raw 3D files (e.g., STEP, OBJ, FBX) and basic product photography into clean, optimized, and textured digital models for rendering.
• Photorealistic Rendering: Execute high-quality, photorealistic 3D renders, including product shots with white backgrounds, detailed close-ups, and exploded views to demonstrate functionality.
• AI Integration: Strategically utilize AI image generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Dall-E) to rapidly generate complex backgrounds, unique lifestyle elements, or design concepts for composite imagery.
• Amazon Content Design & Optimization
• Product Gallery Images (Infographics): Design highly persuasive secondary product images and infographics that clearly communicate key benefits, technical specifications, and use-case scenarios, using rendered and composite assets.
• A+ Content & Brand Story: Create visually rich and cohesive A+ Content (Enhanced Brand Content) layouts and Brand Store assets, utilizing 3D renders to build compelling brand narratives.
• CGI Lifestyle Scenes: Conceptualize, model, and render realistic digital environments (lifestyle scenes) or use AI-generated backgrounds to showcase the product in use, creating high-impact visuals without traditional photography.

Collaboration & Communication

• Efficient Workflow: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality assets efficiently and under tight deadlines.
• Team Communication: Proactively and clearly communicate project status, potential roadblocks, and revisions with marketing and product teams to ensure smooth and fast asset approval.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual assets adhere strictly to brand guidelines and Amazon's technical specifications (size, resolution, file type).

Qualifications & Skills

• Mandatory Technical Expertise
• 3D Software Proficiency: Expert level proficiency in at least one industry-standard 3D software suite for modeling, texturing, and rendering (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Maya, KeyShot).
• Rendering & Post-Production: Proven experience with ray-tracing/path-tracing render engines and advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator, for post-production and infographic design.
• AI Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to proficiently use AI picture creation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Dall-E) and integrate AI-generated assets into a final, professional design workflow.

Required Professional Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in 3D product visualization, e-commerce graphic design, or a related role.
• Strong Portfolio demonstrating high-quality, photorealistic 3D product renders and/or CGI used specifically for e-commerce or Amazon listings.
• Amazon Listing Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Amazon's image requirements, product gallery format, and the structure of A+ Content/Brand Stores.
