Product Designer

Founding Product DesignerSalary: Up to £85,000 plus benefitsLocation: Fully Remote

A mission-driven start up transforming the future of long-term healthcare are looking for a Founding Product Designer. They are building a smarter, more efficient way for GP practices to manage care, scheduling and workflows – replacing outdated spreadsheets with a powerful, data-rich SaaS platform.

As the Founding Product Designer you will work directly with the founding team and engineers to shape how the product works, looks, and feels, playing a key leadership role to how the company see's design at scale. You will oversee multiple tools in development and rich data integrations planned (including machine learning on real-time clinical data), to aid towards their long-term scale and serious impact.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in the digital environment, leading product discovery, research, and UX/UI design.
• Proven experience with systematic scalable design processes.
• Proven ability to liaise and present to both non-technical and technical stakeholders.
• Strong experience in web technologies and working with backend and frontend engineers.
• Proven experience working with third-party vendors and external suppliers.
• Track record of delivering large-scale digital projects on time and on budget, with document technical requirements.
• A strong portfolio with clear problem-solving and end-to-end product thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the roadmap across digital revenue streams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and commercial KPIs.
• Oversee large-scale digital programmes using SAFe Agile practices, delivering high-quality, impactful products.
• Talk to customers, understand their pain points, and translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive interfaces.
• Collaborate daily with backend and frontend engineers (a small, focused team).
• Define and own our design culture, process, and toolkit.
• Leverage data, research, and market insight to identify product opportunities that drive growth, engagement, and revenue.
