Design Engineer

I am currently resourcing a role for one of my Landing Gear clients in Germany, they are looking for someone experienced in this field to help support on their current and upcoming work

packages.

This would be a contract position and can be worked remotely for the duration of the contract (6 months). See notable points:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design landing gear assemblies and components (mechanical and hydraulic) for passenger aircraft using CATIA V5.
• Develop 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and detailed design documentation
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (EASA CS-25 Part 25) for commercial aircraft
• Conduct tolerance stack-ups, material selection, and design-for-manufacture reviews
• Collaborate with stress analysts and systems teams to ensure integration and performance standards are met

Requirements:

• Proven experience designing landing gear or related structures for commercial/passenger aircraft
• Proficient in CATIA V5.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic systems and aerospace structural design
• Familiarity with airworthiness requirements and certification processes EASA
