Freelance 3D Animator

ABOUT THE ROLE

A talented 3D animator is needed to bring an imaginative and educational YouTube mini-series to life, designed for preschool and early childhood audiences aged 2–7. This collaborative role involves transforming existing character illustrations and scripts into vibrant, high-quality 3D animations that captivate and educate young viewers. The ideal partner will work closely on creative development to ensure each episode is engaging, visually appealing, and aligned with early learning principles. Animation styles inspired by Disney and Pixar are preferred, though any similarly creative and child-friendly aesthetic is welcome. This is a planning-stage collaborative project with long-term creative potential.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, etc.)
• Experience in children's animation, ideally for educational content
• Ability to translate 2D character illustrations into expressive 3D animations
• Strong storytelling instincts and a creative approach to early childhood engagement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for producing content that inspires and educates young children
• Open to remote, ongoing creative partnership
