🎨 Are you a 2D artist with a flair for defining art styles? Want to help shape the look of a fantasy detective game?

We’re looking for a Lead 2D Artist to join the team behind an in-development PC game that has just finished its prototyping phase and is starting work on a first playable. This project is working with a really exciting and well-established fantasy IP, and we need someone who can take ownership of and define the game’s art style. We’re seeking someone who can define artistic pillars, lead a small art team and work within the IP’s predetermined world.

As part of the Gamecrafters’ Collective, you’ll work with a remote, creative team developing this IP from the ground up. From key art and character design, you’ll play a crucial role in defining the game’s visual identity.

🧠 Who We’re Looking For:

• A 2D artist with experience in illustration and concept art
• Someone comfortable working with pre-existing IP
• Someone who can establish and communicate a strong visual style
• A great collaborator who can lead a small art team
• Bonus points for experience in game UI

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating concept art, character designs, and game-ready assets
• Shaping the game’s look and feel
• Working closely with the design team to ensure visuals support gameplay and story
• Providing guidance and feedback to other contributing artists
