The Role
We are searching for a talented Performance Creative Strategist to make a significant impact across Paid Social. In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of innovative paid social creative, focusing on Meta, (Instagram & Facebook) & TikTok, to elevate our brand presence and drive exceptional ROI for our paid social ads. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic D2C brand growing at pace. You will be creative and analytical, being able to communicate a clear message through creatives and determine the best ways to vary content for different audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Lead and own end-to-end creative ideas for always-on paid social campaigns, ensuring fresh ideas, brand consistency, and skilful writing to drive increased sales, brand awareness, and overall brand equity.
- Campaign Development: Develop and execute social media creative strategies that align with our brand's business objectives. Conceptualise and pitch creative ideas for TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram ad platforms, including UGC, high-production ads, motion graphic ads, and static design ads.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilise creative data to measure and report on campaign performance. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns and improve performance.
- Content Creation: Lead ideation, build storyboards, create visual mock-ups, and drive the content concepting process. Write and edit ad copy and scripts for a variety of formats, including UGC, design, and video ads. Create intricate and in-depth briefs for UGC creators.
- Collaboration: Work closely with editors and media buyers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of creative deliverables.
- Optimisation: Understand what makes creative convert and continually optimise creative performance within ad campaigns on Meta, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market research, and consumer insights to inform our creative strategies. Establish authority on creative best practices and thought leadership within the paid social space.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects at once, prioritising and delegating tasks as needed to ensure timely and effective delivery of work.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Proven experience as a Performance Creative Strategist or in a similar role, preferably in a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce environment.
- Strong understanding of paid social media advertising platforms, particularly Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and TikTok.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative ideas and strategies to clients and internal teams.
- Knowledge of current trends in videography, paid social, and digital marketing. Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective video requirements.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse and act on performance metrics.
- Experience collaborating with creative teams to produce high-performing ad content.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with tools for campaign tracking and performance analysis.
