We're working with a boutique, design-led creative collective that bridges global reach with high-end heritage branding on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a designer who doesn’t just make things look pretty, but actually understands how to build their vision from the ground up. If you are a Figma pro who is equally comfortable diving into custom WordPress builds with clean PHP and CSS, this is your chance to work with high-profile clients like the Design Museum and City of London. You’ll join a senior, remote-first team that values technical quality and thoughtful UX over burnout and frantic deadlines. The Role

• Transform complex client briefs into polished, user-centric Figma designs and interactive prototypes.
• Take full ownership of the front-end build, developing clean custom WordPress themes from scratch.
• Build scalable design systems and reusable UI components using Gutenberg blocks and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
• Bridge the gap between design and development by writing clean HTML, CSS, and PHP to ensure your vision is executed perfectly.
• Collaborate with a senior team to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of web projects for diverse sectors including heritage, culture, and global commerce.

What You'll Need

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including a deep understanding of layouts, components, and user flows.
• Proven experience building bespoke WordPress themes from the ground up—no off-the-shelf templates here.
• Strong technical skills in HTML5, CSS3, and PHP specifically for WordPress theming and customisation.
• Experience with Gutenberg, ACF, and structured content to create flexible, future-proof websites.
• A sharp eye for UX/UI design and the autonomy to manage your own workload in a fully remote environment.
