ABOUT THE ROLEWhat You’ll Do

• Design simple, delightful, and intuitive product experiences from concept to launch, thriving in ambiguous problem spaces and bringing clarity through design.
• You will be the voice of the customer, grounding your work in research and championing a user-centered approach to design across Heatseeker.
• You will facilitate high-level strategic design decisions through modern design thinking, data and user research
• You will effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually to team members, sr members and founders
• You will collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements and develop solutions, that impact the bottom line and solve real user problems
• You will set and communicate clear product vision, bringing perspective to every stage of design, crafting compelling designs and prototypes that ensure the user experience is well understood and executed throughout the design process.
• You will think in design systems, make rational decisions, and help shape our design system and visual standards as the product scales.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree or higher-level qualification in design, combined with professional experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced startup environment.
• 7+ years experience designing for SASS, or complex applications, bonus if you have experience with AI.
• Passion for user-centered design, with the ability to demonstrate outcomes and back your work with the insights and results that show how products inspire and delight users.
• Experience with a variety of both qualitative and quantitative research methods, and know how to apply them in a Design Thinking-like process
• The ability to present your work with confidence while navigating a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
• A strong intuition and passion for interaction design, with the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications—paired with a sharp eye for polished, visually compelling design.
• Thorough knowledge of agile development lifecycles, with the ability to prioritize projects, communicate progress clearly, and deliver on time.
