Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Web Scraper to work on a contractor (part-time) basis. As a Web Scraper, you will play a critical role in helping train next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input. Your domain knowledge is essential to shaping how AI models learn, reason, and perform across various industries. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to extract valuable insights from the web, clean, and structure large volumes of data for further analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web scraping scripts and applications to extract relevant data from multiple websites.

• Perform data extraction from both static and dynamic content, handling various data formats and structures.

• Clean, validate, and structure large volumes of scraped data for further analysis and utilization in AI systems.

• Monitor scraping pipelines for data quality and troubleshoot scraping failures to ensure high-quality data delivery.

• Implement solutions to bypass anti-scraping mechanisms and maintain scraping effectiveness.

• Collaborate with the client's team members to define data requirements and deliverables, ensuring seamless project execution.

• Document all web scraping processes, scripts, and applications for future reference and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python programming language, with experience in libraries and frameworks such as Scrapy, Selenium, and BeautifulSoup.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web scraping best practices.

• Familiarity with REST API, JSON, and XML data formats, as well as data cleaning and manipulation techniques.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and querying.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex web scraping issues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
