Role: JavaScript Developer

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $90,000 – $150,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.

Role Overview

We are hiring a JavaScript Developer to build and ship features across our web stack. The role works in modern JS/TS, partnering with the wider engineering team on real production systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain features across Node.js backend and React/Vue frontend

- Write clean, well-tested JavaScript and TypeScript

- Design and consume APIs across services

- Diagnose and fix bugs across the stack

- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards

- Partner with product and design on scoping and trade-offs

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 2+ years building production JavaScript/TypeScript applications

- Strong knowledge of Node.js and at least one frontend framework

- Familiarity with REST and modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, esbuild)

- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Playwright)

- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL

- Comfortable with Git, CI/CD, and code review workflows
