DescriptionICF Next in Brussels is a leading communications agency working at the heart of the EU. We deliver strategic communications, digital engagement, and policy support for European institutions—combining creativity, data, and technology to drive meaningful impact. We are looking for a creative and versatile Graphic Designer to join our team in supporting high-impact communication and digital engagement projects. This role is primarily remote, with occasional presence at the client’s premises as needed. Working under the guidance of the Team Leader or a designated official, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing innovative visual content and ensuring consistency with the European Union’s visual identity standards. Key Responsibilities
- Visual Content Creation: Design illustrations, infographics, factsheets, data visualizations, and other visual assets for digital and print use.
- Concept Development: Produce sketched concepts and visual style proposals to support creative direction.
- Digital Innovation: Develop cutting-edge visual solutions tailored to various digital platforms.
- Component Libraries: Create and maintain visual component libraries and style guides to ensure design consistency.
- Animation & Motion Design: Design animations and similar multimedia content to enhance storytelling.
- UX/UI Support: Deliver a wide range of assets including web design elements, high-fidelity mock-ups, annotated wireframes, and storyboards.
- Brand Application: Support stakeholders in applying EU visual identities and branding guidelines effectively.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and innovation.
- Familiarity with EU visual identity systems and their application across media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, and other design tools.
- Experience using online platforms like Canva to create high-quality infographics.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and design trends.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- English proficiency at B2 level (understanding, speaking, writing).
